About Quincy Clegg

As the youngest of six children, Quincy Clegg was always the observer in her family. While everyone else was vying for attention, she was watching, developing her eye for capturing the world around her.

In middle school she began showing everyone what she was seeing through her unusual photographs. She continues to delight and amaze us. We'll be standing beside her, taking in the same scenery, but her photographs always illustrate something completely surprising.

At Evanston Township High School Quincy founded the Photography Club, because there wasn't one. She discovered kindred spirits who were working with rudimentary equipment, like camera phones, with the same facility to delight the rest of us by revealing just how differently we all observe the same environment.

She is studying photography now at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
